How much do you love chocolate? Are you the kind of person who eats it in passing, but doesn’t really have much interest in the way it’s made, or where it came from? Or are you someone who is simply fascinated by everything to do with it? If you’re the latter type, then we highly recommend visiting the one and only Lindt Chocolate Museum in Zürich, Switzerland.

Learn the History

If you go to this factory, you’ll learn not just the history of how Lindt chocolate was created, but how modern chocolate as we know it was developed. You’ll learn about all the big players in the industry, and how chocolate evolved from a mere bitter cocoa bean to the sweet goodness it is today.

A Visual Experience

You’ll also enjoy beautiful sights in the museum, from the multi-colored tunnels and interactive diagrams to the chocolate fountain displayed upon entering the building.

A Chocolate Souvenir

To round out your experience, everyone gets free chocolate—and a lot of it, we may add. You’ll get to try a handful of different flavors, free of charge! And when you leave the museum, if you still want some more chocolate for the road, there’s a Lindt store where you can buy as much of it as you want for later.
