]]>Content creator Kristen Sellentin recently shared a simple way to upgrade your cinnamon rolls, that’s great for any time of the year but perfect for Halloween.
A great thing about Sellentin’s recipe is that you need just a few ingredients and can make it without having much experience in the kitchen.
To start things off, get a can of cinnamon rolls. Unravel each roll and then twist the dough in ridges to mimic the shape of a ghost. Bake the cinnamon roll ghosts by following the instructions on the package.
After baking, cover them generously with glaze and give them “eyes” using treats. You can get a pack of candy eyes, which can be found in most stores, or get creative.
Instagram users were left impressed with Sellentin’s recipe, which received 60K likes and 1.7 million views since being shared earlier in September.
“These are so freaking cute!!,” one person wrote.
“So adorable,” another added.

]]>While beef is a popular choice, don’t be afraid to experiment with different combinations. Next, it’s time to get creative with your seasonings. Garlic, onions, herbs, and spices are the secret ingredients that will make your meatballs truly mouthwatering. When it comes to binding your meatballs together, breadcrumbs and eggs are your best friends. They not only hold everything together but also add moisture to the mix.
Now, let’s talk about the rolling technique. Avoid overworking the meat mixture as it can result in tough meatballs. Gently shape the mixture into bite-sized balls, ensuring they are all similar in size for even cooking. For a perfectly browned exterior, give your meatballs a quick sear in a hot skillet before finishing them in the oven or simmering them in a delicious sauce.
Lastly, remember that patience is key. Let your meatballs rest for a few minutes after cooking to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve them with your favorite pasta, on a bed of fluffy rice, or even as a tasty appetizer.

]]>Create a Tex-Mex feast with marinated slices of chicken, beef, or portobello mushrooms seared to perfection. Add bell peppers and onions to the skillet until charred, mix with the protein, and serve directly from the skillet for a communal, festive meal.
Elevate pizza night by pressing your favorite dough into the skillet for a crispy yet chewy crust. Consider a pesto or a creamy garlic sauce instead of traditional red sauce, topping with mozzarella, goat cheese, and preferred toppings. Bake in a hot oven until the cheese is bubbly and the crust golden brown.
Sear chicken breasts for a golden crust, then set aside. In the same skillet, cook garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach, deglaze with white wine, and add cream and Parmesan, simmering into a rich sauce. Return the chicken to the skillet and bake until tender for an indulgent dinner.

]]>Beans are a great choice for vegans, as they’re easy, healthy, high protein, and delicious. For this easy meal simply open a can of beans and a can of corn. Fry them up with some onion, bell pepper, and zucchini with cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Load this filling into the taco shells and dollop some smashed avocado on.
For a vegan version of a ‘breakfast style’ taco. Crumble up some firm tofu and add to a pan with oil. Add a sprinkle of turmeric, some black salt, and some black pepper. Stir well to ensure the tofu is evenly coated and then gently fry for 5-10 minutes. Chop up some crunchy lettuce and tomatoes and pop into the taco shells and then add the tofu scramble on top.
Jackfruit is great if you want a totally vegan meal that has a hearty, meaty texture. Heat some oil in a pan and then add the jackfruit and season well with coriander, ginger, chili flakes, and black pepper. Add a dash of soy sauce and fry for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently. In the meantime whip up some slaw and some raita using soya yogurt. Chuck all of this into the taco shells and enjoy.
