Air fryers are pretty useful tools to have in the kitchen because they can make cooking easier and faster. However, here are some common beginner mistakes to avoid once you start using your air fryer.

Using too Much Oil

Don’t mistake your air fryer for a deep fryer, because there’s no need to use too much oil. A teaspoon or two of oil is more than enough to prepare tasty food in an air fryer.

Only Using it to Make Fried Foods

There are so many great recipes you can make in your air fryer, so using it for making fried foods only would be a huge mistake. You can cook chicken, bacon, or even a steak in your air fryer, but it also works great for baked goods as well, such as lava cakes or chocolate chip cookies.

You Don’t Preheat Your Air Fryer

Don’t forget to give your air fryer time to preheat in order to properly cook your food and not end up with a soggy mess.

Not Reheating Food in Air Fryer

Air fryers can save you a ton of time in the kitchen because they’re also great for reheating food. You can reheat your leftovers such pizza, meat or fries, and they’ll be just as tasty and crispy as the night before.
