If you ever had Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups then you know how well peanut butter and chocolate work together. The sweetness of chocolate perfectly complements the creaminess and saltiness of the peanut butter, providing your taste buds with an amazing experience. But there is no need to go to the supermarket in order to enjoy this combination. Just make our peanut butter chocolate balls following the recipe below.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 1 cup chopped chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 3 teaspoons coconut oil
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine peanut butter and honey into a saucepan. Mix on low heat for a couple of minutes and then remove from the stove.
  2. Melt two teaspoons of coconut oil and mix with peanut butter and honey. Pour the mixture into a blender and add oatmeal, almond flour, and salt. Blend until you get a smooth consistency.
  3. Roll the peanut butter mixture into balls and line them onto a baking sheet. Cover with plastic foil and pop into the fridge.
  4. Combine the chopped chocolate and one teaspoon of coconut oil into a bowl. Melt in the microwave or using the steam method. If you are using the microwave, mix every 10 seconds to get it to melt nicely.
  5. Take out the peanut butter balls and dip each into the chocolate.
  6. Pop them in the fridge and let them sit for about an hour. If you are in a hurry to try them, you can also use your freezer.
