Hugely popular 7-Eleven’s “Bring Your Own Cup Day” has been on pause for the past two years, so the popular convenience store chain decided to make up for it by having two in 2022. After organizing the event in July, 7-Eleven announced earlier this week that another one would take place in August.

On August 27th, customers will be able to visit their nearby 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes locations and fill a cup of their choice with a Slurpee drink for just $1.99. All the favorite classics, like Blue Raspberry, Cherry, Pina Colada, and Coca-Cola, will be available alongside a limited-time flavor Mango Lemonade. The mix and match will also be an option, allowing customers to get either one flavor or all of them in the same “cup.”

“We know that Slurpee drinks are a summertime staple for customers, so we’re bringing back BYOC Day to celebrate the popular frozen beverage for a second time this summer following a very successful Slurpee Day,” said 7-Eleven in a statement.

There are several rules that Slurpee enthusiasts will have to be aware of while attending the event. The cup they bring must be clean and leakproof. Also, the cup must fit below the Slurpee dispenser, which has a 10-inch diameter. This means cookie jars and fish bowls are fair game, but buckets are not.
