Scrolling through TikTok and Instagram there are a plethora of cooking hacks and to be honest, most of them look too good to be true. We have to admit, we were skeptical about these hacks actually working, but we’re glad we gave them a try. Here are five internet hacks that will make cooking easier.

Roll Out Dough with a Vodka Bottle

Instead of using a rolling pin or wine bottle, use a frozen vodka bottle to roll out dough. The bottle will keep the dough cold, which makes it less sticky and easier to roll. Roll the dough between pieces of parchment paper so it doesn’t get condensation on the bottle.

Dice Through a Cooling Rack

Quickly dice hard-boiled eggs and avocados with a cooling rack. Just put the rack over a large bowl and push the food through with a metal spatula. You’ll get perfect pieces every time.

Slice with Dental Floss

Slice cheeses, divide doughs, slice cheesecake, and cut cinnamon rolls with unflavored dental floss, to cut clean slices.

Clean Up a Mess with Lint Rollers

The sticky side of lint rollers are ideal for picking up spilled spices, rice, or sprinkles.

Spray Spoons

Are you sick of your syrup or honey getting stuck on the measuring spoon? Before pouring them on, spray the spoon with non-stick spray. It will slide right off.
