4-Ingredient Buffalo Chickpeas

Chickpeas and hot buffalo sauce are the perfect match. This recipe is made of only four ingredients and it is completely affordable. The crispy buffalo chickpeas are the best snack ever, and so addictive that you won’t be able to stop.


The ingredient list is super-simple and affordable. You will need a 15 oz. can of chickpeas, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 2 teaspoons nutritional yeast and 1 tablespoon buffalo hot sauce. The chickpeas should be drained, but not rinsed. Such a short list to make the most delicious snacks ever.

Recipe Alert! 🚨 Stop what you're doing right now & make this pizza! . 🍕 Air Fryer Buffalo Chickpea Pizza 🍕 . *Ingredients* 8 oz pizza dough (half of a full dough ball; I used the quick recipe from @sugardishme's blog, but store bought works too) Flour for dusting Cooking spray 1/2 cup chickpeas 3 tbsp hot sauce (I like @franksredhot) 1/4 medium red onion, diced 1/4 cup vegan mozzarella (I like @miyokos_kitchen) 1/2 avocado, cubed . *Directions* – On a floured surface, roll out your dough to be the size of your air fryer basket. – Spray basket w/ cooking spray & place dough into basket (if needed, press dough out to fill entire basket). – Cook crust for ~10 mins at 375 degrees, or until the top is brown. Then use a spatula or tongs to flip your dough over (the underside will be less cooked). – While crust is cooking, mix chickpeas w/ hot sauce. After flipping the crust, spread the chickpea mixture & red onion onto it. Top w/ vegan mozzarella. Cook for an additional 10 mins at 375 degrees. – Remove pizza from air fryer using a spatula. How To Make Them

The first thing you have to do is to preheat the oven to 350 F. Get the can and drain the liquid, but don’t rinse the chickpeas. Grab a bowl and put them in. Add the nutritional yeast and cornstarch, then mix them very well. The chickpeas should be covered with both ingredients evenly. This is when you add the buffalo hot sauce. Mix everything again until the peas are covered with the sauce. Grease your tray and put the chickpeas on it. Bake for half an hour, mix them, then leave them in for another half an hour. Feel free to add a few minutes if you want them crispier. Enjoy!
