Did you notice that your bananas are looking a little less than their best? Congrats—they’re at the perfect stage to be turned into something delicious! Just because they are slightly on the soft side, does not mean they need to go to waste. Here are three ways to give your overripe bananas new life.

Banana Bread

Let’s start with the classics, shall we? Back in 2020, when the world was in lockdown, just about everyone was trying their hand at baking banana bread. Banana Fritters

If bananas and donuts had a baby, this would be it. Think crispy, fluffy banana donut balls that totally melt in your mouth. Whip up some melted chocolate to dunk them in, or drizzle with honey. Yum!

Banana Tarte Tatin

A traditional tarte tatin is made using apples, but bananas are just as delicious. The French upside-down tart involves making caramel and using puff pastry as the base. One bit of this and you’ll forget that apples even exist!
