People who spend a lot of time in the kitchen know how important good organization is. If the things you use on a daily basis are easily approachable and everything has its place, cooking can be a relaxing activity and your kitchen can become your favorite room. If you’re thinking about organizing your pantry, here are some mistakes to avoid.

Not Using Corners

Many of us leave the pantry corners empty because things that go there can easily be forgotten about. However, if you use smart storage solutions like turntables, you can utilize this space in the best possible way.

Round Containers

Round jars and other containers can look nice, but once you place them in your pantry you’ll see that you’ve actually wasted a lot of space. It’s better to choose square or rectangular containers and fit them nicely on the shelf—you’ll be surprised how much more room you’ll have.

Not Going Vertical

You can either adjust the shelf height, use mobile shelves, or get containers that can be stacked on top of one another and use all the vertical space you have available. Once you do this, it becomes obvious that it was the right solution all along!
