You won’t have to deal with these problems if your blender is powerful enough, but you should think twice if you have the most affordable model on the market.
Defrosting Frozen Foods
If you’re worried about frozen goods damaging your food processor, defrosting is always a good idea. Give them some time to thaw, ideally in the refrigerator to prevent bacterial growth. Microwaving frozen foods or defrosting them inside cold water is also an option.
Cutting Frozen Foods
You can reduce the risk of frozen foods damaging your food processor by cutting them into smaller pieces. Your food processor will have a much easier time managing small slices, but if you’re having a hard time cutting your food, give it some time to thaw.
