An air fryer is an extremely popular kitchen tool that can take your food to the next level—as long as you use it right. Here are three things that most people forget when using their air fryers that you should remember at all costs.

No Preheating

Do you feel like your food sometimes feels a bit overcooked after you take it out of your air fryer, even though you carefully followed the recipe? It’s possible that you’ve skipped one important step—preheating your air fryer. Your meals will be ready faster and taste more delicious if you preheat the air fryer for a few minutes before using it.

Not Adding Oil

The air fryer can be used without any oil, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it should. Using a light coating of oil is highly recommended because your food will be crispier and taste more delicious.

Not Moving Your Food Around

If you think that you can simply put your food inside an air fryer and call it a day, think again! It’s important to move your food around one way or another, usually by simply shaking your air fryer basket, to make everything inside it cooks evenly.
