Pasta is the ultimate comfort ingredient. If you’re on a budget, or you just feel like a tasty meal that satisfies every time, pasta doesn’t have to get boring. Here are our favorite three-ingredient pasta dishes that hit the spot whenever you need a comforting and simple dish.

Butter Pasta

It sounds as simple as it is; all you need is butter, pepper, parmesan cheese, and the pasta of your choice. Cook the pasta as you usually would. Once cooked and the water is strained, place the pasta back into the saucepan and a tablespoon of butter. Combine the butter and pasta, ensuring the butter has melted evenly over the cooked pasta. Then fold in the parmesan cheese and pepper. Once it all looks evenly spread, move the pasta to a bowl and sprinkle with some more pepper and cheese.

Pesto Pasta

Cook any shape of pasta you have at home and cook as you usually would. Once the pasta is cooked and drained of the water. Place the pasta back on the heat and add a tablespoon or two of pasta to the pan. Add toppings if desired; we recommend adding some frozen peas. If you want to get extra fancy, adding cherry tomatoes, pine nuts, and arugula to the pesto pasta is an excellent option.

Sesame Noodles

Cook spaghetti pasta as you usually would. Once cooked, add ½ cup of soy sauce and oil with a generous splash of sesame oil. To top it off, add some sesame seeds and spring onion to make the dish appear fancier to your dinner guests.
