Burritos are one of those perfect foods that you can never get sick of with their ideal texture, convenient package, and relative ease of making at home. But the one part that is challenging is rolling them in a way in which they don’t immediately fall apart and spill all over your lap. So here are some tips that will help.

Get the Right Tortilla

If your tortilla is too small or doesn’t have enough gluten to be stretchy, it’s just not going to work for rolling a burrito, no matter how skilled you are. So go for the largest flour tortillas you can find, and if they’re not stretchy enough, get a different brand next time until you find the right one.

Heat It Up

For maximum pliability (and thus roll-ability), a tortilla must be nice and warm, so you’ll need to heat it up before you use it to wrap your burrito. But just be careful for it not to get crispy, because that’ll just make the rolling even harder.

Use Some Finesse

It’s okay if your roll doesn’t turn out perfect the first time. Even if you need to tuck a bit on one side and change your filling quantity, it’s fine. Do what you gotta do to make your burrito work. It’s a hustle out there.
