You know what makes every part infinitely better—Jell-O shots. While these were pretty much a staple in college, as adults, they’re still delicious. And they couldn’t be easier to make. They only use three ingredients: Jell-O powder, hot water, and alcohol. But getting the right ratio of these ingredients will make them even tastier. Here’s your guide for making Jell-O shots. You’ll want to serve these at your next party.

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients

You’ll need a measuring cup, a whisk, plastic or glass shot glasses or small cups, and something to boil water. In regards to the ingredients, you’ll need Jell-O, water, and your favorite alcohol.

Step 2: Dissolve Jell-O

Fill your measuring cup with 1 cup of boiling water, then add the Jell-O powder. Mix the powder until it’s dissolved into the water.

Step 3: Add Alcohol

Before adding the alcohol to the mix, wait for the mixture to cool. This prevents the alcohol from burning off. Then add the alcohol and whisk to mix it with the Jell-O mixture.

Step 4: Pour Into Cups

Pour the mixture into the shot glasses and put them in the fridge for up 3 to 4 hours, or until they’re solid. Serve and enjoy!
