We like our desserts to be simple and delicious. If you feel the same, you might want to try making Nutella-filled tiramisu truffles. These truffles come with that familiar tiramisu taste you like but without all the hard work. Also, the Nutella filling takes the dessert up a notch. They don’t need baking, and you can have them ready in no time. Here’s how to make them.
Ingredients:
- 12 ladyfingers
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/3 cups coffee (cold)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- Nutella
Instructions:
- Grind the ladyfingers using a food processor. If you don’t have one, you can also place them in a plastic bag and then crush them using a rolling pin.
- Combine the coffee and mascarpone cheese in a bowl and mix. Add ground ladyfingers and sugar and stir until you get a dough-like consistency.
- In the meantime, use a teaspoon to place bits of Nutella on parchment paper. Pop the bits in the freezer until they get solid.
- Split the tiramisu dough into even pieces. Flatten them on your palm, place a Nutella bit in the center and then roll them into a ball. Do that with every piece.
- Powder the tiramisu truffles with cacao powder and place in the fridge for two hours.
- Dig in!
