You Might be Using your Toaster Wrongly

A toaster is one of the smallest appliances in the house, and seems to be the easiest to operate, right? But did you know that you might be using your toaster wrongly?

You believe the numbers refer to time

Most of us think that the numbers on the toaster dial refer to time, and in a way they do. The numbers are actually only a reference point to allow you to make adjustments to that particular machine.

Real timers are only included in more expensive machines. If you buy a different toaster, the settings will be different.

You don’t use toaster bags

While we think of toasters as only capable of making ordinary toast, they’re actually capable of a bit more than that. Obviously, you can’t slap a piece of cheese onto your bread and toast it in the toaster.

That would leave a terrible mess. That’s why some great soul invented Toastabags. They’re made from a material similar to Teflon, and they allow you to make grilled cheese sandwiches in your toaster without the mess and fire danger. They’re also really useful for reheating pizza or even for making French toast.
