This Caprese-Stuffed Chicken is Perfect for Dinner Parties

Succulent chicken on the outside and a scrumptious caprese salad on the inside, a caprese-stuffed chicken proves to be a flavorful and surprising dish—perfect for surprising your party guests. Here is how you can make a scrumptious caprese-stuffed chicken that is perfect for your next party.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices mozzarella
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400º. Cut a pocket deep into each chicken breast, making sure not to cut all the way through. Insert tomatoes, spinach, and one mozzarella slice into each chicken breast.
  2. Sprinkle Italian seasoning generously over each chicken breast along with salt and pepper according to taste. Insert toothpicks to secure.
  3. Place a skillet over medium heat and cook each chicken breast, about three minutes per side.
  4. Once the oven is heated to the required level, add the chicken and bake for about 15 minutes, until the meat is no longer pink.
  5. Remove toothpicks and serve.
