Sometimes, you need a really great treat to fix a bad week or a really hard day. Enter, this banana sundae – sweet, salty, and topped with ice cream, this dessert hits all the right notes and is a great way to please a crowd.
Ingredients (serves 4):
- 6 ripe bananas
- 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
Instructions:
- Combine the salt and sugar
- Heat the butter in a pan
- Slice the bananas in half vertically
- Put the bananas in the pan and allow them to crisp
- Sprinkle over the sugar-salt mix, and cook until the bananas have crisped
- Serve with the ice cream on top
