Schlotzsky’s Wants to Pay Someone $15,000 to Test Their Spiciest Dishes

Schlotzsky’s, a fast-casual restaurant specializing in sandwiches and pizza, started an intriguing campaign that will get the attention of every spice food enthusiast out there. The company recently announced it is willing to pay someone $15,000 to test its spiciest dishes and then make a report about it.

Titled “Super Hot Summer Side Hustle,” the campaign is searching for “one spicy-loving couple” to become the chain’s new Chief Spicy Officers. In order to qualify for the role, you and your partner have to meet certain criteria.

The perfect candidates have to be 21 or older, be willing to spend one month trying food and creating content about it, live in a 25-mile radius from a Schlotzsky’s location, and have an active and public Instagram account.

On top of $15,000, the selected candidates will get several other perks like a VIP trip to Schlotzsky’s headquarters, exclusive merch, and more.

“Schlotzsky’s recognized an opportunity to combine our passion for menu innovation with the growing popularity of side gigs to create a one-of-a-kind contest for our fans,” Schlotzsky’s Chief Brand Officer William Armstrong said in a statement.

Applications are open until June 30, so you better hurry up if you are interested. Just know that it won’t be an easy task considering that Schlotzsky’s has dishes that pack a lot more kick than your usual fast-casual restaurant food.
