Netflix Launches Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream Flavors Inspired By “Stranger Things”

If you’re a huge fan of Stranger Things, the ice cream parlor Scoops Ahoy probably lives in your head rent-free. If you’ve ever wondered what ice cream from this popular series tastes like, you’ll be happy to hear that Netflix found a way to make Scoops Ahoy a reality!

Netflix joined forces with Walmart to launch several new flavors inspired by Stranger Things, paying home to the episodes, themes, and characters from the Upside Down.

“Just because you can’t visit Starcourt Mall on a hot day and have Steve or Robin Buckley treat you to a chocolate scoop, doesn’t mean the USS Butterscotch has sailed away for good. To help you kick the end of summer blues, Netflix and Walmart are bringing you a whole line of Scoops Ahoy ice cream flavors this fall,” reads the streamer’s official statement.

In addition to U.S.S. Butterscotch, Netflix introduced three more flavors – Triple Decker Extravaganza, a vanilla and butter ice cream, swirled with maple ribbons, peanut butter, and waffles bites, cinnamon ice cream Cinnamon Bun Bytes, and chocolate ice cream with chocolate fudge and vanilla wafers, called Chocolate Pudding.

Netflix also launched three spooky flavors inspired by the Upside Down, called Mint Flare, Pineapple Upside Down, and The Void. The flavors of the first two are pretty self-explanatory, while the third is a black vanilla ice cream, filled with strawberry ribbons and vanilla cream cookie pieces.
