Haagen-Dazs is Bringing a Brand New Product to Shelves

You hear Haagen-Dazs, you think ice cream, right? Well, until this month that was entirely true.

The dessert giant had only 3 flavors when it showed up in 1960, but in the six decades since, it has progressed much further than vanilla; chocolate; and coffee. Over the years, Haagen-Dazs has also branched into sorbet; ice cream bars; and cones.

The latest product has veered away from dessert, however, as the brand has now launched a yogurt line.

Keeping in Haagen-Dazs tradition, the Cultured Créme has been inspired by the frozen treat and can be described as decadent.

Fresh milk, cream, and fruit are used to create the yogurt, with no artificial colorants or flavoring.

According to the company, the product goes through a “fermentation process that is up to five times longer than traditional yogurt to create a thick, creamy texture reminiscent of ice cream. Cultured Crème also uses a unique blend of dairy cultures that offer a smoother taste experience, unlike the slightly sour flavor of traditional yogurt.”

There are currently 6 flavors in the collection, including vanilla bean; strawberry; coffee; blueberry; lemon; and black cherry.

Cultured Créme is set to hit shelves this month.
