When you’re hungry but don’t feel like cooking, ordering a pizza is convenience at its finest. Back in the day the process involved calling up your restaurant of choice, but these days, apps have made everything easier. You simply select your order and 30 minutes later, a delivery guy is standing with a hot pizza on the other side of your front door.

The experience is as old as time, but Domino’s Pizza is once again offering the opportunity to shake things up. Despite being best known for its delivery service, Domino’s is encouraging its customers to pick up their own pies to earn a reward.

“We know the effort it takes to get up and leave the house in pursuit of a hot, delicious carryout pizza,” said Christopher Thomas-Moore, Domino’s senior vice president of customer and store experience. “Domino’s diehard carryout customers are really like carryout heroes, and to show our gratitude, we’re giving them $3 to use on their next carryout order. We hope they take advantage of it. After all, they’ve earned it!”

The initiative was first piloted in early 2022, with customers reportedly claiming more than 17 million carry out tips, prompting the chain to bring it back. The campaign will run until March 26, 2023.
