Sometimes a candy pick-me-up is the only thing that will work, but at other points, you may just need a boost of energy to focus. Lime And Chilli Cashews
Ingredients (to make four snack portions):
- 1 cup of cashews
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- Zest one lime
- 1 teaspoon of chilli flakes
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Instructions:
- Heat the oil over a medium heat in a pan.
- Add the zest of the lime, the chilli flakes and the salt.
- Add the cashews, and stir continuously so the nuts are coated well.
- After about 5 minutes – or when the nuts start to brown – remove from the heat.
- Store in an airtight container for up to three weeks.
Banana Oat Smoothie
Ingredients (serves 1):
- 1 banana
- 1/4 cup of oats
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
Instructions:
- Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth.
Cheese And Chutney Slice
Ingredients (serves 1):
- 1 slice of cheese
- 1 teaspoon of chutney
- 1 slice of bread
Instructions:
- Spread the chutney over the bread.
- Place the slice of cheese in the middle and fold the bread over to form a sandwich.
