3 Ways Tofu Can Be Cooked

Many of us who want to reduce our animal product intake will start eating tofu as a substitute, but it could be quite intimidating to try to deal with. We thought we’d propose three ways that tofu can be used, which apply to both soft (silken) tofu and firm tofu.

Before you start: we recommend draining the tofu and marinating it with your favorite flavors that will fit your menu.

Ground Tofu

This is very simple to do, you can just use a blender stick, or even a juicer. You can use it for quiche, or to make a vegan Omelette.

Fried Tofu

Be sure you drain your tofu well and cut it into thick slices or cubes. You want to use very hot oil, and don’t place the tofu into the pan until it’s heated. Wait until the tofu is golden on the outside and take it out of the pan, it will still be tender and tasty on the inside.

Baked Tofu

This is great if you don’t like frying your food. You can place your tofu slices alongside your vegetables in a tray and simply bake them until the ends are dark and crispy.
