If you’re getting bored of simple avocado toast or eggs on bread, it may be time to switch it up a little. Lucky for you, we’ve compiled a short list of great ways to add spice and variety to your toasts, to get your creative juices flowing and your mouth watering.

Fruit

Sweeten the deal by adding delicious fruits on top of your toast such as sliced bananas on top of almond butter toast, or fresh fig slices on top of buttered toast or ricotta toast. You can also add apples and peanut butter to your toast for more variety.

Fresh Vegetables

Add farm-fresh vegetables for extra flavor. Buy some extra sweet grape tomatoes on the vine, and spread them on top of smashed avocados, and add a drizzle of high-quality extra virgin olive oil, pink salt, and a drizzle of balsamic reduction. You can also cut up some fresh cucumbers and put them on top of tuna or egg salad for a more hearty toast.

Spreads

Add more unique spreads such as flavored hummuses with watermelon radishes, cucumbers, and spiraled carrots. You can also opt for cream cheese, butter, jam, or peanut butter. The possibilities for toast varieties are endless, and there are so many different types of unique spreads that will add character, charm, and excitement to an otherwise ordinary day.
