You’re never fully dressed without a smile, and a salad is never fully dressed until it’s, well…dressed. A great dressing can take your salad from good to spectacular. Here are four salad dressings that you can never go wrong with.

Maple Dijon

Honey-mustard dressing is an absolute classic with a great reputation. But sometimes, you just wanna mix it up a little. Swap out the honey for maple syrup (which makes it vegan-friendly too). Whisk together Dijon mustard, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, a squeeze of lemon juice, salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.

Spicy Peanut Butter

Satay is a super popular dish in Indonesia. The skewers are served with a peanut butter sauce that is bursting with flavor. By making a more liquid version, you can use it as a dressing, particularly for Asian salads. Blend together peanut butter, lime juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, sriracha, or chili paste, and a splash of water until you achieve the right consistency.

Raspberry Balsamic

If you prefer vinaigrettes on your salad, this is an elevated version. Using a blender, combine fresh or frozen raspberries, balsamic vinegar, a touch of honey, a squeeze of lemon juice, and a drizzle of olive oil. Blend until smooth and strain the dressing if you like.
