Matching one’s shoes and handbag is so passé. We’d much rather match our bag to our drink. And if espresso martinis are your drink of choice, you’re in luck.
Just ahead of the holidays, Absolut Vodka has created a handbag that will have everyone turning heads—and getting a little thirsty. Through a collaboration with designer Nikolas Bentel, the Absolut Espresso Martini Handbag has been born.
“The goal of The Absolut Espresso Martini Handbag is to bring the iconic cocktail beyond the bar, onto the streets and into people’s homes,” Bentel said in a statement. “Attention-grabbing, yet classic, there is a real story to tell with this creative contrast: just like the timeless recipe, The Absolut Espresso Martini Handbag is the perfect mix of bold complexity and classic nostalgia.”
The limited-edition accessory looks good enough to sip, complete with coffee bean detail. The frothy top opens up to stash your belongings inside, and even though it’s hardly big enough to store anything, it couldn’t be cuter.
At $199, it’s probably the most expensive martini you’ll ever buy, but it’s an absolut icon. The Absolut Espresso Martini Handbag will be available from November 25 on the Absolut x Hauste website.
