You Can Make This Pesto Pasta in 20 Minutes

If you’re looking for a dinner recipe that can come together super quickly and easily but also be very delicious, there’s no more perfect recipe for you than this pesto pasta. It’s simple but, man, is it finger-lickin’ good! Here’s how to make it.

Ingredients:

  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Pesto
  • Olive oil
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Pasta
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Boil water. Salt generously.
  2. While the water is boiling, chop the onions and mince the garlic.
  3. Put pasta into the boiling water.
  4. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  5. Add onions to the olive oil. Saute until translucent, about five minutes.
  6. Add garlic, saute another two minutes, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  7. Add pesto.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. When the pasta is done cooking (al dente), drain, saving a tablespoon of pasta water.
  10. Add cooked pasta and pasta water to the pesto sauce. Stir until the pasta is coated.
  11. Stir in parmesan cheese.
  12. Serve with grated parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
