When implementing proper nutrition into our lives, it can be pretty hard to watch what we’re eating and drinking. Sure, some people have mastered the art of living perfectly healthy lives, but so many others struggle with it on a daily basis. Drinking water, for instance, is one of the hardest things for some people to do, which is a shame because of how much it can improve health. If you’re one of those people who struggle to drink water regularly, here’s a tip that may help.

Finding The Right Times To Drink It

This may seem like a simple concept, but it’s surprisingly not implemented as much as you’d think. One of the reasons that people are so turned off from drinking water is because they try to drink it at times when they’re used to drinking something more “fun”.

If you’re sitting down to watch a movie with friends, you may feel pressured to drink water instead of a soda. Whether or not you actually drink the water, the problem is that you felt pressured to do so. Ultimately, that guilt or pressure isn’t enough motivation, and it will lead you to stop drinking it.

The best times to drink water are times when you wouldn’t normally be drinking anything else. Whether you’re on the way to picking up your kids from daycare or riding the train to work, these “transition” periods are great times to get your water filled. Before you know it, you’ll be a water-drinking machine.
