Roast beef comes in a myriad of different forms, from a handful of different cuisines and cultures. Italy is known for its unique take on many different styles of cooking, and this Italian beef recipe is proof. Enjoy the rich seasoning while reveling in the hearty nature of the main attraction. Best of all, your family and friends will love you for making it. Let’s get started!

Ingredients

  • 6-pound roast beef
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Bay Leaves
  • Oregano
  • Beef stock

As you can tell from above, the list of ingredients is incredibly simple and easy to acquire. Transforming these ingredients into a final dish is easier said than done, but as long as you follow these instructions closely, you’ll be golden!

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 F. Stab small holes into your roast with a knife (about three should do the trick). Then, slice up the garlic and place it into the roast beef holes. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and oregano on top of the roast.

Put the roast on a metal baking pan with some water and bay leaves on the surface. Then, cover the pan, roast beef included, with aluminum foil that has holes punched into it.

Place the roast into the preheated oven and bake for around two and a half hours. You’ll know it’s ready if the core of the roast is slightly pink, but the rest is brown. Take it out of the oven and add some beef bouillon and oregano to make it look fancy. Slice it up, serve, and enjoy!
