There are numerous ways you can prepare an egg, but turning them into an omelet has to be the most popular way. And it isn’t hard to see why. Not only are omelets delicious, but they can be customized on so many levels that you’ll never get bored of eating them.

Many people turn to a pan and stove when making an omelet, but we recently found out a great way to make omelets by using an oven thanks to One Pot Chef. This way you will get even fluffier eggs, and they will instantly become a favorite in your household. Here is how to make them.

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 1 medium red onion
  • 1 cup chopped ham, sausage, or bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • ¼ cups milk
  • ½ teaspoon oil
  • ½ baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

2. Finely chop the onions and put them in a pan alongside meat of your choice. Cook on medium heat on the stove until the onions become slightly brown.

3. Brush the muffin tin with oil (or spray with some cooking spray) and divide your onion/meat mixture evenly in the cups. Add shredded cheese.

4. Crack eggs in a bowl and add milk, oil, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until the mixture gets foamy.

5. Pour the egg mixture into muffin tin cups. You can leave it like this or top it with some veggies like mushrooms.

6. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until they become puffed up and golden.

7. Let them sit for a minute and then treat yourself with a perfect breakfast!
