The Only Brownie Recipe You Need

If chocolate brownies are your thing, you need to try this chickpea chocolate brownie recipe. Yes, you read it right, chickpeas chocolate brownies, but how? These are the most delicious brownies you will ever eat, they are sweet, moist, and have no real sugar in them. And they are gluten-free! You won’t taste the chickpeas, we promise. They are simple to make and last in the fridge for up to five days. This is a must-try recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 15-ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed.
  • 1/2 cup nut butter 
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips and more for sprinkling on top!

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F.
  2. Blend together the chickpeas, nut butter, maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla.
  3. Add in the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Continue to blend until smooth.
  5. Once creamy and smooth stir in the chocolate chips with a spoon or spatula.
  6. Pour into greased 8×8 pan and sprinkle with extra chocolate chips 
  7. Bake for 21-23 minutes and eat with your favorite ice cream or whipped cream.
