If you love salmon, sweet and savory combinations, and oriental flavors, you are going to love this recipe for pineapple soy salmon. Check it out, and you’ll be adding it to your list for kitchen go-to’s in no time!

Ingredients

  • 2 four to six-ounce salmon fillets, with skin on
  • 2 ounces soy sauce
  • 1.5 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1.5 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper

Instructions

Start off by taking the salmon fillets and placing them on a plate. Here, you will want to take the garlic powder and ground black pepper and coat the outside of the fillets with them.

Once you have done this, place the fillets into a plastic bag. Then, add the soy sauce, pineapple juice, and olive oil and allow them to combine and emulsify by swirling the bag. After this has been completed, place the bag into your refrigerator and allow to marinate for 2-4 hours.

Now, you’ll want to take the fillets and put them into a pan on your stove. Be sure to put at least most of the remaining liquid in the bag into it too, as this will allow the pineapple soy flavors to permeate the salmon even more.

Cook on medium-high heat until fully cooked, flipping about halfway through.

Enjoy!
