Pork Schnitzel is a Versatile and Yummy Dinner Idea

Schnitzel is an Austrian and German classic dish that is crispy, tender, and so delicious. You can make it as home super easily and have it as the star of whatever kind of meal you want!

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper each
  • 1 tablespoon of seasoned salt
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

  1. Start by pounding the pork chops until they’re thin and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Put the flour, salt, pepper, and seasoned salt into a shallow dish.
  3. Put the eggs into another shallow dish with the milk.
  4. In a final shallow dish, put the breadcrumbs together with the parsley.
  5. First, put the pork chop into the flour and shake off the excess, and then dip it into the eggs. Finally, put it into the breadcrumbs and do the rest of the chops.
  6. Heat up the butter and olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side so they get golden.
  7. Eat them as they are, put them on a sandwich, or have with traditional German side dishes like cabbage.
