It Takes Just Five Ingredients to Make Delicious Avocado Fries

The days of making fries with nothing but potatoes are long behind us and you can now make them with everything from zucchini and carrots to avocados. Avocado fries are an incredibly delicious dish and it takes just five basic ingredients to cook them at home.

If avocado toast and guacamole don’t do it for you anymore, and you’re looking for a new way to eat avocados, this is the dish you need. You don’t need a pro to make avocado fries and the process is so quick and easy that you’ll find yourself always going back to this recipe time and time again.

Ingredients:

  • 2 avocados
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. After peeling and slicing avocados in half and removing the pit, cut each half into frie-shaped strips.
  2. Beat your eggs inside a bowl, and pour flour, mixed with salt and pepper, and breadcrumbs into two separate bowls.
  3. Coat your avocado strips with flour, dip them in beaten eggs, and dip them into breadcrumbs until coated properly.
  4. Pour your oil into a pan and heat it to 350 F before adding avocado strips inside. Don’t let them overcrowd the pan and let each one fry for about two minutes from each side until golden brown.
  5. Place your fries on a paper towel to remove excess oil and serve them with a dip of your choice.
