How to Make Sure the TikTok Recipes You’re Eating are Healthy

You should think twice before giving certain TikTok crazes a shot, and this mainly applies to the viral food trends. Some of the foods that have emerged on the social media platform don’t really fit into a healthy diet, and here are a few things you should keep in mind before trying them.

Right Choice

TikTok food trends that become part of the mainstream are pretty rare and they usually fade away in a week or two. There’s no need to jump on the bandwagon every time a new trend emerges. If the trendy food doesn’t seem like something you’d really enjoy, feel free to give it a pass.

Healthy Ingredients

Every dish can be made a little bit healthier if you use the right ingredients, including viral TikTok foods. If a certain trend doesn’t seem 100% healthy, you can try to put a twist on it by ditching certain ingredients or replacing them with healthier alternatives whenever possible.

Smaller Portions

Even some of the healthiest foods on the market aren’t good for you if you don’t eat them in moderation. The same goes for TikTok viral foods, such as baked feta pasta, hot chocolate bombs, and pancake cereal. Feel free to try them as long as you remember not to go overboard.
