Being arguably the most famous celebrity chef in the world, Gordon Ramsay has his hands full running Michelin-starred restaurants, filming hit TV shows, and running other successful businesses. However, he still manages to find some time to provide content for his YouTube channel and help people improve their cooking skills.

A great thing about Ramsay’s video recipes is that they are not just instructions on making a specific dish. They also contain various cooking gems, tips, and tricks, which he picked up during his storied career. This was the case with his most recent video, titled “Three Delicious Back To School Recipes”, which showcased a great trick for removing seeds and dicing chili peppers.

One of the recipes from the video, sweet corn fritters, required Ramsay to dice up some chili peppers. Wanting to tone down the heat, the British chef decided to remove the seeds from the peppers using a cool trick.

Ramsay first rolls the chili pepper in his hands to loosen the seeds and then gives it a good shake. After that, he cuts the top of the chili and simply taps out the seeds.

After getting rid of most of the seeds, Ramsay cuts the pepper in quarters and then each quarter in half. This gives him eight stripes of chili pepper that can then be easily diced.
