It’s that time of year again: the New Year. 2022 is coming, which means that people are starting to think about their goals and the changes that they want to make in their lives. Well, as a home cook, what new habits do you want to build and which do you want to get rid of? Here are some cooking resolutions that we suggest to kick off your brainstorming process.

Finally Use Your Cookbooks

Most cooking enthusiasts have lots of cookbooks laying around, either because they bought them for themselves or because they got them as gifts. But most people never crack those books open. So why not make a resolution to actually try one of your cookbooks this year? You can even commit to making every single recipe from one book, or one recipe from each book.

Take a Cooking Class

Most home cooks are self-taught and that can get you pretty far, but taking even just one cooking class can be an experience that is both educational and really fun.

Tackle Your White Whale

Everybody has something that they’ve always wanted to make but have avoided out of fear. Maybe it’s paella. Maybe it’s lobster. Maybe it’s a souffle. Whatever yours is, make 2022 the year to finally conquer it.
