Dubai chocolate seems to be TikTok’s favorite new treat and it is easy to understand why. It’s tasty and decadent while combining unique flavors to perfection. On top of that, it opened up new opportunities for creativity.

After perfecting the basic recipe for Dubai chocolate, TikTok food content creators started creating interesting and unique spinoff recipes that use the same formula in a different way. Here are the ones everyone should try right away.

Brown Butter Dubai Chocolate Chip Cookies

This creation by @wellmadebykiley replaces the chocolate part of Dubai chocolate with cookie dough. The result is a crispy and gooey snack that is best enjoyed with a glass of milk. The video recipe for brown butter Dubai chocolate chip cookies has received 3.2 million views since being shared in March.

@wellmadebykiley

BROWN BUTTER DUBAI CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES Can you even 🥹 Recipe below OR go to my website through the link in my bio 🤎 #Recipe Details (makes 16-18 cookies): Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies: – 1 cup + 2 tbsp (258g) salted butter – 1 cup (230g) brown sugar – 1/2 cup (110g) granulated sugar – 2 eggs, at room temp – 2 tbsp (30ml) heavy cream, room temp (sub: milk of choice) – 2 tsp (8g) vanilla extract – 2 3/4 cups (350g) all-purpose flour @Bob’s Red Mill – 1 tsp (6g) baking soda – 1 tsp (4g) baking powder – 1/4 tsp (2g) salt – 1 1/2 cups (300g) chocolate chips of choice (I used semi-sweet) @Nestle Toll House Filling: – 1 cup (90g) kataifi (shredded phyllo dough) – 3/4 cup (200g) pistachio butter or cream – 1 tbsp (14g) salted butter, for toasting kataifi Instructions: Start by browning the butter. Add the butter to a saucepan over medium-high heat. Allow to melt and slightly brown (~5 minutes). Remove from the heat and immediately pour into a large bowl. Allow to cool slightly. In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside. Once the brown butter has cooled, add both sugars and whisk. Add in the eggs and whisk until well combined and lighter in color. Then, add the heavy cream and vanilla. Whisk to combine. Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and gently fold until fully incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in the fridge to chill for at least 1-2 hours (ideally 2-4 hours) or up to 24 hours. I let mine sit in the fridge overnight! Prepare the filling. In a large pan over medium heat, melt the 1 tbsp of butter and add the shredded kataifi. Toast the kataifi until golden and crispy, stirring frequently. Transfer to a bowl and let cool. Once cooled, add the pistachio butter and mix until well combined. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Scoop and portion out the filling into 2 tsp sized balls, placing onto the baking sheet. Chill in the fridge or freezer for at least 1 hour. Once ready to bake, preheat the oven to 375F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Remove the dough from the fridge and allow to sit at room temperature for 20-25 minutes to make it easier to scoop. If it needs longer, let it sit longer! Use a large cookie scoop (3 tbsp) to scoop (pack the dough into the scoop with your hands) the dough out. Flatten each ball with your hands. Place the filling portions into the center and shape the dough around it to form cookie balls, adding a little more dough if needed to ensure the filling is completely enclosed. Place the cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheets, spacing at least 2” apart. Bake at 375F for 14-16 minutes, until lightly golden and the edges are set. Remove the cookies from the oven and immediately shape them with a bowl or round cookie cutter if desired. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack. Serve warm with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt and milk, if desired. Cinnamon rolls are one of the most delicious sweet treats on the market, but it takes some time to master the art of making them. If you feel like your cinnamon rolls are missing something that will make them perfect, we’re here with some useful tips and tricks that can help you take them to the next level.

Room Temperature Ingredients

Allow refrigerated ingredients to come to room temperature before using them. The yeast won’t be able to work its magic if the ingredients are too cold, so give them some time to reach room temperature.

Avoid Over-Mixing

It’s important to mix your dough thoroughly, but over-mixing it is best avoided because you might end up with tough cinnamon rolls.

Let Dough Rise

Let your dough rise in a warm, peaceful environment, and slightly oil your bowl beforehand. Letting it rise overnight in the fridge is also an option, and your rolls will most likely have a more complex, robust flavor if you use this method.

Rolling Tips

Try to roll your cinnamon rolls as tightly as possible so maximize the number of layers, while also making sure they hold shape and the filling doesn’t fall out.

Final Touches

You should use dental floss to cut your cinnamon rolls and give them some space when placing them on a baking sheet. Once they’re baked, give them at least 10 minutes to cool down before icing them so your icing won’t melt.

One of the best things about chocolate chip cookies is that you can easily elevate their flavor by adding some fun new ingredients to the mix. If you’re in the mood to experiment with your go-to recipe, here are five delicious add-ins that can take your cookies to new heights.

Nuts

If you want to put a crunchy twist on your chocolate chip cookies, try adding some chopped nuts to the mix, including almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, and pecans.

Oats

Oats can also give your cookies a chewy texture and keep them on a healthy side. Rolled or old-fashioned oats are the best possible choice, and you can easily mix them with other add-ins.

Dried Fruits

Dried fruits can also help you put a healthy twist on your chocolate chip cookies. Options are pretty much endless, and you can use everything from raisins to dried cranberries, cherries, and bananas.

Peanut Butter

Peanut butter has the power to make every sweet treat extra delicious, and it will do wonders for your cookies because it pairs perfectly with chocolate.

Candy Bits

If you want to make your cookies fun and tasty, candy bits will get you there. M&M’s are always a good idea, but you can also add some toffee bits and crushed peppermint to the mix.

Pumpkins have the power to make pretty much any dessert 100% better in an instant, and Danielle Rye seems to agree. She’s the author of the popular food blog Live Well Bake Often, and her delicious recipes will help you put pumpkins to some good use this fall and winter.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Chocolate chip muffins are never going out of style, and it’s always fun to try mixing them with all sorts of different ingredients. Rye opted for pumpkins this time around to create perfectly moist and delicious muffins.

Pumpkin Pie Bars

Another beginner-friendly recipe that will make you fall in love with pumpkins all over again, these pie bars owe their delicious taste to a shortbread crust, spiced pumpkin filling, and whipped cream topping.

Mini Pumpkin Pies

These mini pies come with a similar list of ingredients as the previous recipe, but you might prefer them if you’re looking for a picture-perfect dessert that you can serve with ease.

Pumpkin Coffee Cake

If you don’t like coffee-flavored desserts, don’t let the name of this cake trick you. It’s basically a pumpkin cake, and Rye simply opted for this title because she recommends eating it with a cup of warm coffee.

No-Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake

If you’re looking for a way to put a twist on your cheesecakes, Rye will inspire you to add some pumpkins to their creamy filling, along with spiced gingerbread to the cookie crust.

Baking pumpkin pie often feels mandatory during the fall season. Honestly, we wouldn’t have an issue if it was, considering that it is a perfect comforting dessert for gloomy and rainy days.

However, the truth is that making pumpkin pie at home isn’t the easiest of tasks. Oftentimes, the pie doesn’t turn out the way people envision, which makes them discouraged about trying again. But what if we told you that the reason for this isn’t a bad recipe or a lack of cooking skills?

In most cases, it is just a matter of a few simple mistakes made throughout the baking process that are easily avoidable. Check them out below.

Making Your Own Pumpkin Puree

We understand that making everything from scratch is a lot more satisfying. However, when it comes to pumpkin puree, this usually leads to a downfall. When you make your own pumpkin puree, it is quite hard to get the consistency and wetness right. Canned pumpkin puree, on the other hand, has the perfect texture and properties for pies.

Using the Wrong Kind of Pan

Not every pan will do a great job of baking the pumpkin pie. If you use an aluminum one, it will heat up rather quickly and result in a burnt pie. Glass pan is a much better choice as it will bake the pie evenly and also allow you to see when the crust acquires the perfect golden brown color.

Failing to “Blind Bake” the Crust

Speaking about the crust, it is essential that you employ the “blind baking” technique. This calls for baking the crust first and then adding the rest of the ingredients for further baking. By doing this, you will avoid the crust from becoming soggy or undercooked.

Not Paying Enough Attention to Spices

Spices play a crucial role in making or breaking a pumpkin pie, calling for a measured approach. You should make sure that your spices haven’t been resting in the spice cabinet for too long because, in that case, they likely lost their aroma. Additionally, don’t hesitate to put more spices that you enjoy to make them stand out.

Chips Ahoy! is one of America’s most beloved brands of chocolate chip cookies, and they just managed to make them even better! If you’ve ever found yourself wishing that their cookies were even bigger, Chips Ahoy! will finally answer your prayers with the newly-launched supersized Big Chewy Cookies.

Big Chewy Cookies are hitting the shelves in October, and they’ll be three times bigger than the regular Chips Ahoy! cookies. These XL cookies will be sold in individually wrapped packing, and this cult brand is teasing them as the perfect on-the-go snack.

Jen Levin, senior brand manager for Chips Ahoy!, announced the launch of Big Chewy Cookies, and revealed why they’re worth the wait.

“Now, with the launch of Chips Ahoy! Big Chewy Cookies, we’re excited to be their on-the-go cookie choice as well, offering indulgence and happiness in each big, delicious bite. And perhaps the best part of all? Their bigger size means you have enough Chips Ahoy! deliciousness to share with a friend,” said Levin in a press release.

Big Chewy Cookies will come in three different flavors – classic chocolate chip cookies, which are soft-baked and packed with chocolatey chips four times larger than the original, plus brownie-flavored and caramel-flavored cookies if you’re in the mood to experiment with new flavors.
