Secret menus are becoming quite a popular trend among fast-food chains. If you are not familiar with the concept, it is basically a list of food items that are not officially advertised, but the staff will make them for you when asked. All the popular fast food joints have one, and Texas’ favorite Whataburger is no different.
What makes Whataburger special is the variety of their secret menu offering. There are numerous ways you can break your fast food routine at Whataburger, regardless of whether you are looking to get a meal, drink, or dessert. So, next time you visit, consider trying some of the following.
Chicken and Pancakes
To try this one out, you’ll have to visit during breakfast hours (11 p.m. to 11 a.m.). At this time, Whataburger serves pancakes and the staff is happy to combine them with some chicken tenders and smear it all in maple syrup. Can it get any better?
Bacon and Cheese Whataburger: Bunless Style
If you want to cut on bread, then this is just the thing you need. You get their signature cheese Whataburger deconstructed on a platter without the buns and topped with bacon. You can’t go wrong there.
Ranchero Breakfast on a Bun
This is Whataburger Breakfast on a Bun (BOB) with a twist. The usual BOB comes with scrambled eggs, American cheese, and bacon or sausage on a toasted bun. The Ranchero version has jalapenos mixed into the eggs with the addition of Picante sauce.

Whataburger Hulk
To wash it all down, try Whataburger Hulk. The fan-favorite drink is made by combining ¼ Powerade and ¾ Vault soda into a cup filled with ice.

Apple Pie Shake
If an ordinary Whataburger shake doesn’t do it for you, consider ordering an Apple Pie shake. It is apple pie blended into a vanilla ice cream shake. It tastes even better than it sounds!
