You know that feeling when you make perfectly crispy French fries, but can’t eat them all at once? We’ve been there and it’s not a good feeling because they’ll never taste as good as fresh. Luckily, you can always reheat them and they can taste pretty great if you use the right method.

Worst: Microwave

Reheating French fries often gets a bad rap because most people use the microwave to get it done. Reheating your fries this way should be avoided at all costs because it’s impossible for them to regain their crispy texture.

Best: Stove

Your leftover fries will have a much better chance of tasting good if you reheat them on your stovetop. Put them inside a large skillet with no added oil and give them up to five minutes to heat up.

Worst: Oven Broiler

If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to reheat your fries, you may be tempted to use your oven broiler. It will lead to a better result than using the microwave, but your fries still won’t taste that amazing.

Best: Oven

When reheating the fries in your oven, you should use much more than just a broiler. Oven-roasted leftover fries can taste pretty great, but their main downside is that it takes a lot of time to reheat them properly.
